Change of course: Geoengineering, technofixes and radical emission reduction pathways to stay under 1.5°C

Climate change is not an engineering problem. There are many viable alternatives to bring our societies on a pathway towards 1.5°C without relying on high-risk and large-impact technological fixes (so-called geoengineering). A technofix mentality and powerful vested interests prevent us from implementing them.
The workshop aims to build capacity on the topic of geoengineering among international civil society & social movements and connect perspectives to explore a radical and climate just change of course.
