No Climate Justice with Free Trade: What next in the fight against CETA and other Free Trade Agreements

It will not be possible to rein in the climate crisis without changing the world economic order. Nevertheless, governments continue to uphold the free trade paradigm. Energy – in particular the extraction of oil from tar sands – is a significant aspect of the as yet unratified Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between the EU and Canada. We will be using CETA as an example to explore the impact of free trade on the climate. How can we still stop CETA?
